Curated by Roman Ruins, it will include sets by Newageynofriends (SF) , Jones (Baltimore), Height (Baltimore), and Wordup (Oakland). DJing the affair will be Quarterbar. It promises to be a fantastic time.

LATE: The Cool Kids

You can absolutely call me one of the following:

However, I couldn't resist posting something on these guys since it's all I've been listening to over the past week. I was reciting lines from "Black Mags" while on the ski lift in Colorado this past weekend, it was embarassing. Check out a good post on Passion of the Weiss (aside from the yelling during the set part, which wasn't all that cool; anyone should be able to enjoy whatever music they like, regardless of what they look like) and the accompanying LA times review.

MUSIC: New Ratatat Remixes Vol 2

Word on the street is that Ratatat is getting ready to drop another mixtape on us. If it's anywhere near as good as Volume 1, then sign me up. I'm just a huge fan of their wall of sound. If you haven't seen them in concert then do yourself a favor and get out there and check them out. Anyhow, they even were generous enough to provide an mp3 of one of the new remixes.
